Supplying Artwork

ARTWORK INSTRUCTIONS
You're encouraged to supply your own camera-ready artwork or typeset files.  See below for instructions.  Questions regarding artwork requirements may be channeled through your SSR to the graphics department.  If necessary, one of our artists will gladly contact you directly.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
•Camera-ready artwork is "slick" black & white artwork with very clean and crisp edges to all images and lettering - plus all color-paths, for multi-colored images. Unfortunately, faxes never work.
•PMS #'s must be indicated for each separation of colored designs.
•Occasionally, what is considered camera-ready, in fact is not, especially considering images transmitted less than 600 dpi.
•MTM's art department will determine if artwork is camera-ready.  If artwork is not camera-ready, a minimum $35.00 art-charge will apply for "working" a logo or specialized text.
•Please indicate with your order if a proof is required, prior to production.
•Color Matching: We cannot guarantee exact PMS color matches due to variations in materials and inks. However, we will provide close color matching in our imprinting and etching areas. Contact your SSR if a near color match is required.

ARTWORK & TEXT FORMATS
Artwork can be accepted, electronically, in the following formats.  Send via email or on disk, as specified. Macintosh is the preferred format. If you send an art file created on the Windows platform, all fonts must be converted to paths, curves, or outlines.

EMAILING ARTWORK
Email artwork to:                         art@mwtrophy.com

Include your Sales Support Representative's name in the subject field of the email.

Artwork (logos)
EPS files created in Freehand, Illustrator or Corel Draw are acceptable.  Otherwise, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, etc. are not acceptable camera-ready formats.

MACINTOSH • Macromedia Freehand 8 • Quark Xpress 4 • Adobe Illustrator 8 • Adobe Photoshop 4
WINDOWS • Macromedia Freehand • Corel Draw • Adobe Illustrator • Adobe Photoshop

Personalization (text)
Excel is the preferred format. Please use 3 columns for names (First, Middle, Last) Word is also acceptable.

With every art file, include a text file describing fonts used in the document, application used, and other notes you wish to communicate. When sending files electronically, always compress each file with Stuffit (Mac) or Winzip (Windows), wherever possible.  This will diminish transmission time and error potential.

Also...
•Please provide a hard copy of the art, for reference
•Hand-drawn illustrations must be black & white line art
•Where applicable, we can produce your logo in four-color process, which allows a multitude of colors in fewer screens.  Speak with a MTM graphics manager for details and costs
•Remember to always place your imported images(s) on disks
•Any specifications not met may require art clean-up or rework, and incur charges of which we'll immediately inform you for approval before continuing with the ordered item.

NOTE:  Artwork may also be supplied in the above formats on 3 1/2" disk, Zip, Jaz or CD ROM.  All supplied disks should be copies.  Please specify if the supplied disk is an original - it will be copied and returned to you.  All questions regarding disk requirements should be channeled through your SSR to the art department.
